This weekend I walked out of the grocery store and looked up. After a storm I always look up. Always. To my complete delight there was the most delicate and perfect rainbow right in front of me. I marveled at it for a moment and then pulled out my phone to take a photo and share with mom.

Then I looked around to find someone else to tell. There was no one. When you see a rainbow don’t you have some sort of responsibility to goofily tell whoever is near you, “LOOK UP!”

So I looked up and enjoyed the rainbow until it was gone. I know rainbows in the sky don’t “belong” to us, but it felt like this rainbow was all mine for the having.
