NIAWIt’s a delicate thing, to write about infertility after becoming a parent, and yet becoming a parent was the goal of my struggle with my fertility. I am finding out that a lot of old emotions are popping up as I prepare for my frozen embryo transfer for another child. That’s when you realize that even though you have achieved the ULTIMATE dream you are still scarred and damaged. It’s all just right there below the surface of your skin.

I knew that I wanted to write something to acknowledge this important week, but I also think visual is just as evocative. I thought I would share with you some images of my infertility journey to show you something beyond words.

(the photos were taken between September, 2005 and 2009)
