While it may not be super duper obvious on a daily basis over here one of my favorite things is to make people laugh. There is nothing more intoxicating that the sound of laughter and the awareness that you made it happen. Oh it is pure bliss! Mostly I am silly, sometimes I am zany, and often I am purely comical. As a zaftig gal I have used humor to deflect all eyes away from my more than ample hips and thighs. Don’t notice how tight my pants are people, notice how you feel when you are with me. And hopefully you feel amused. You feel fun. You feel enveloped into fast banter and silliness that screams: I love you enough to want to make you laugh.
My true soul is that of a comedian. I am good at it and I love this about myself. What are you good at? Let’s see how you expressed it in today’s photo friday. (this was a tough one, right??)

I am going to try out a new linky system today and I want to make sure that it works for us. I have noticed that the previous linky was prone to slow and I have hopes that thumbnails make this one fun. Except I am not exactly sure how thumbnails will work! There are a few more steps involved but it is pretty basic. You will need to url to your photo friday post and then comes the fun part- you get to upload the actual photo! It can be from an image stored on your computer or from an image already up on your site. If you plug in your site address it will actually pull up images for you!
If you have ANY issues or questions let me know. Like I said- this is new- and I honestly have no idea how it will work for us. If it ends up being too frustrating just leave your url for me in the comments and I will get it up (or will put up the regular linky we have used.)

Somehow your fancy linky thing isn’t working for me. But I think it’s this computer here that is causing the problems. I’ll try it later on again when I’m at home.

argh! am noticing that wordpress.com blogs are not working so well when it comes to finding images from a site. If you can’t upload from your site and can upload from your computer- go for it. In the meantime I will see what the linky people say to try.
ALSO- if anyone has a wordpress.com site and they want me to upload the image for them (via taking a screen shot) just let me know and I would be more than happy to do so.
ALSO part TWO- if you have a child or baby in your photo try putting an * before your “caption” text??

Sweetie, I don’t think it is your new linky’s fault, but rather the fact that I am using my phone since our computer is broken. Can you get mine up there? I think my phone changed the link to something unreadable by the system. And btw, I absolutely adore your photo! Classic and fabulous and wicked creative. HUGS. I hope everyone was able to enjoy yhis week’s theme.
P.s. not all of the thumbnails seem to work…again, it could just be my phone. No idea.

I love the new linky system! Although, I didn’t take a picture this week, so I only love it as a spectator.
Laughter is so important. My family was always laughing- mostly at ourselves. I am a silly person. I tend to pick up good movie lines and repeat them whenever a situation deems appropriate.. I am in awe of people who have memorized a gazillion movie lines and can insert them at just the right moment. I have a very dry sense of humor. If you can’t laugh at life, you’re in trouble
