Taking it all in

by on May 6, 2010

Thank you for the comments and e-mails regarding yesterday’s post. As I am sure many of you can imagine I am incredibly sensitive about, well, pretty much everything. So I appreciate the gentle words of support and encouraging suggestions.

This morning Mother took the dog out and came back all rosy cheeked and breathless demanding that I grab my camera and spend a few moments taking in these amazing wildflowers just down the road. So I did.

(Don’t forget to come back tomorrow and share the url of your photo friday post. This week’s theme is desks/where you blog from. Looking forward to seeing your inner sanctum!)

Lots of love to you both! I loved reading your mom’s comment on your last post, you guys are so supportive of each other, it’s wonderful. Every time I see a blog post from you, I hope it’s the one announcing good news, and I know that post is going to come soon. I know it’s cheesy, but as they say, “It’s always darkest before the dawn.” I’ve found that to be true in my own life, I hope the dawn is right around the corner for you!

Beautiful photos….so hopeful and bright!

Your post yesterday was very thought-provoking, and yet, I couldn’t think of anything useful to say. I was wondering about your job search options. I thought that it might interfere with W’s benefits, but I couldn’t think of a gentle way to ask. But, I might suggest, to ease your angst and make you feel like you’re doing something…do a little job searching for yourself. Because you never know when the right opportunity will present itself.

Also, you are currently in possession of a great networking tool. As you and your mom are anonymous, I think you would be well served to put your mom’s general qualifications and job preferences out here. Again, you never know who might have the right connections. The job market is hard, but I know you guys aren’t extremely picky. So, put it out there and see what happens.

What gorgeous photos.

I really wanted to say something yesterday but just seemed unable to gather my thoughts. Just remember that my thoughts and prayers are with you always.

oh that bottom one is gorgeous!

don’t think I can muster the courage to snap my awful desk. it’s falling apart, piled with crap and plain old ugly. I know, it would make a fabulous shot, but I’d be more likely to shoot the view from my desk of outside, where I spend many hours daydreaming.
