New Photo Friday Theme

by on April 28, 2010

Another week, another chance for you (yes YOU!) to seize the day. Or at the very least seize your camera! Maybe you haven’t felt the call to blog in a while but still want to keep your url warm with a bit of content. EASY content. I mean a photo is worth lots and lots of words. And people will be all, “ZOMG! _____ has a new post that is all up in my feed reader!!!” And then you will get buckets of good comments/feedback. And then you will be all, “Oh blog world! How I have missed you! Let me count the ways…” And SHAZAM! You are back to blogging and people that have been wondering where the frick you are will calm down and stop e-mailing you weekly with ‘WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO BLOG???’ e-mails.

Think I am talking about you? I probably am. I wrote this song about you.

Where was I? Oh yes, the new theme! woooo!!

Beverage/s
What’s/Who’s cooking?

You can combine the themes or not. This is really an opportunity for someone to share up to four photos (1. a single beverage 2. multiple beverages 3. What’s cooking 4. Who’s cooking)

And now is where I ask you what themes would get you excited? What do you think would make a fun round of photos? Hoping for some out of the box suggestions. Because sometimes I go all, “What about ‘the ceiling’ as a theme?” and I need to not do that.

Fun! As for idea: how about an honest “desk” at home. Like the space our computer is and where we might be blogging from? And by honest, I mean if the bills are piled up b/c it’s the week we do the bills, then don’t move them for the picture’s sake. KWIM? Uhm… a personal collection we have?

yay for themes about food! …and if anybody wants her post to do double-duty, consider using it for this, too: http://bionicmamas.blogspot.com/2010/04/come-and-eat.html

can’t believe I missed last week. I even had a pic of my baby’s butt in jeans, but never got to posting it.

how about refrigerators or cabinets? doesn’t everyone like looking inside those? ceilings are kind of cool too. fences or gates. doors and windows. and I do love me some food themes. hungry.

How about reflections? And kitchen sinks. And purses.

themes:

1. leaving (get the super-subtle pun? — it could mean leaving or *leaving*) sometimes my brilliance astounds even me.

2. what’s in my fridge/cupboards?

3. circle (or square, heart, stars, diamonds)

4. A or any other letter. You need to take a photo of an A or whatever letter. I think that, like, pretty much everything else, there’s a flickr group devoted to numbers and/or letters. Plus this is, like, 26 themes in one!!! you’re very welcome.

Note: having more than one theme per week confused me a little, so maybe it should be limited to just one? Or maybe I’m just too easily confused.

The most useless and at the same time most beloved thing in your house. Meaning something that you will never get rid of, even though you don’t/can’t need/use it anymore.
