I can see the world again

by on February 26, 2010

It has been a weird week not having my camera by my side. I take photographs every day. Not having the ability to capture a moment was hard. Every day is new, different, worthy of saving away to snack on later. When I got the call this morning that the repairs on my camera were complete and that I could pick her up today I got emotional. And I didn’t even allow myself to chastise myself for being that way. This camera has been by my side for literally every major moment of my life for nearly ten years. She was missed.

Of course I couldn’t not photograph the rest of the day. (Click on an image to see it larger. I am using a new plug in for photographs so let me know if anything goes wonky for you in the viewing.)

I’m hoping since this post was so happy that it was a cheap fix????

Love the photographs, absolutely breathtaking.

Not cheap, it certainly cleared me out. But it was worth it.

Glad you have your camera back.
I have to say that I get 2 different views depending on where I click the picture from. If I’m on my reader and I click one it brings up a slightly bigger picture that looks like it’s own blog post. However if I’m on your blog reading the post and click a picture it brings up a much larger version of the picture by itself like in front of the post. Either way they are great pictures though. I love the one with the dear.

Great pictures…. just one thing…this isn’t a jab or anything …just a concern…but it appears from the picture that the chest stap on your little one in the carseat picture is way too low. Its supposed to be up higher on his chest at his armpits or slightly above. The smaller the space the better to prevent ejection. Other than that I loved all the pictures.

Oooh! I can see again!! I haven’t been able to view your photos since I lost my home computer – for some reason the BBerry and the work computer would just show me blank squares. But these I can see. Yippeee! Oh, and they’re great pictures of course.
