Waking up in Atlanta and wanting pancakes. Guess what- I don’t live in Florida any more. Kind of having some odd emotional reverbs about that. I mean as much as Florida wasn’t my ideal it was where W was born and where GM died.
Totally sore and exhausted from the final days of scramble but feeling hopeful for the first time in ages. Will post more soon.
Here are some random on the road photos. (uploading from phone so my apologies for any wonkiness…)
The first photo was taken at one of the bajillion traffic lights in one of the bajillion small towns we meandered through to avoid freeway construction. The other photo is himself all flushed and adorable and working a sweatshirt.

no wonkiness detected, just beauty. thanks for the update. been wondering how you’re all getting on!! brilliantly, by the sound of things. good luck for the rest!! xxxx
ooh, get me being number one commenter! makes a change ;o)
I miss you already.
No wonkiness. Love the sweatshirt picture!!
So sad that you moved and we got to meet once
But, I’m truly happy for you and your family that you are finding some hope.
Noooooooooooo! Come back! All the cool people live in Florida!
Glad to hear your on the the road update, and to see the pic of your beautiful boy. In WARM CLOTHES!! Oh my!
How is it you even manage to take amazing snaps with your cameraphone? When you get to that place you’re going, you better open your own photo studio.
Missing you. Hope you enjoy the journey. It has to be a beautiful drive this time of year.
Adorable is true! Missing you already!
Ooooh, safe travels and let me know if you need anything.
beautiful photo of W. I think I’d have to frame that one if I were you!
Hope your trip is safe.
SO SAD you were in Atlanta and we didn’t get pancakes together…hope your trip continues on safely!
You must have drove through my hometown. I recognize Stripling’s Bait and tackle in the picture. You are at the red light by Wendy’s and Ivey’s Laundry. Be safe and enjoy the trip. Hope all goes well and your mom is able to find work. It is a scary job world right now. I have noticed that there are many days where there are no jobs listed at all in our local paper. Good luck and drive safe.
Oh, the town was Waycross…lol.
Have a nice trip!
The sweatshirt photo is adorable.
Waving hello back at you.
