Fingers crossed! Jase’s job only pays for his health care and the kids are covered by my ex. Every year we try and get me on Jase’s plan only to be told it’ll be almost $400 a PAYCHECK. That’s $800 a month! No pre-existing conditions. Bare bone coverage. With three kids there is no way I can afford to take from them just in case I need a doctor.
Hopefully things will work out. Wisconsin has a new program for people without children who do not have affordable health insurance choices. The program opened only a few months ago and it’s already max’d out and a waiting list established for existing applications and not taking any new applications.
