Say WHAT? Russell in the bottom? Are you for real???? He is my total favorite this season and I was shocked. I mean the kid danced with someone other than his partner (that should totally bow out of the competition if she is unable to perform, sorry. she should.) and he did a great job.
I was not a fan of the pairings- I mean who decides these things?? Dancers that I thought would do well are paired with people that I am not so into.
And no Mia?
And all of these pleas for Paula?
And the girl that I was prepared to hate (the cryer) was actually pretty darn good.
It’s going to be a crazy season.
Noelle should go. Russell was a horrible bottom choice. Getting rid of the guy they brought back for a day and a half was really crappy. I get it, but they should have just paired her up with Russell. That would have made more sense.
My faves right now are Russell, Ellenore, Mollee, and Victor. But I’m sure that will change.
Yeah, I thought the Russell thing was lame. He did a good job, too…and got good comments. Can I say that I find Ashleigh sooooo annoying? Ugh. I hope she gets the boot soon. I think my favorite piece was Bianca and, um…the guy she danced with, doing the Travis Wall piece. That was cool. I’ll miss Mia for sure, but that was her choice. If they get Paula, I hope they have her choreograph instead of judge. That would be much more interesting.
You know I love this show, but honestly, I cannot get into any of the dancers this round. The personalities just aren’t there this time. Or maybe it’s just me.
Ah, it’s early times yet… it will evolve into a group we can all get passionate about. I loves me some Russell, but I am saving him as a FaFa pick until after one of my other favorites (and a pick) Legacy is kicked to the curb — hope that’s not for a long time [the cave people dance was the best of the night IMHO, and loved that it made me laugh AND go OMG at the dancing moves].
Jakob was SHUT UP!!! good, and the jealous wifey-poo partner moved around more like a spokesmodel. Bianca is definitely a favorite of mine. Her heart (and talent) shines. And ?Kevin? was Good (capital G), and… hmmm
didn’t get first dance and hated the song, the costumes, the look on the stage (Rockin’ Robin? FGS!) was more like a high school production… Liked it less than the androids piece that booted Ariana.
Thought Brandon did an incredible job given the situation and, understanding Nigel’s comment that the dance had to be judged On The Day, still thought his snarkiness in his criticism that followed to be heavy-handed.
The ‘young’uns’ were fine, dancing energetic and beyond anything I could ever dream of doing (ha — could do NOTHING these folks do, including walk onto the stage!), but still she’s just So Young and looks even younger.
Was going ?HuH? at “the best dance SYTYCD has ever seen” — maybe the music was just too Not Like The Dance (we even tried muting and then could finally enjoy the dancers) so was jarring.
And I’m forgetting one more dance… Oh, wait, the one with Channing and partner. It was okay.
PLEASE NO PAULA unless as choreographer. She doesn’t articulate well enough under pressure as a judge to provide the more precise feedback we like to cheer or boo on SYTYCD.

I am so far behind on my SYTYCD (I have three DVR’d episodes waiting to be watched) that all I can do is bitch about not knowing what to bitch about.
Picking Russell for the bottom 4 was a [very, VERY lame] calculated move, I think, on the part of the judges — they love him, they know he’s a fan favorite, and they want to make viewers think he isn’t safe so they will vote for him in droves.
I enjoy the dude, but I cry foul. He got nothing but praise from the judges and was in no way one of the weakest 4 dancers.
I don’t watch SYTYCD, but I do like your new header! And I do so like you!
I love SYTYD! I am so glad to hear I was not the only one annoyed by the two guy bottom picks. Give Brandon a break, I mean really he was back for a day and half. I thought he did great considering… Russell has like the most character out of all of them. I was also said to hear Billie was leaving. I can’t wait until next week though, I am a shameful voter, I get the landline and the cell phone and I dial away.
I DO NOT want Paula as one of the regular judges, I just don’t see what she will add to the show.
I so wish we got current season here in Cairo. We will get it later so i scrolled down past all your comments. We got American Idol last season, just delayed a day.

I mis Mia, I wonder why she left? She said she wanted to persue other options, but damn if she wasn’t a breath of fresh air form screaming mimi!

I’m okay with Mia being overseas so long as we keep Travis as choreo. I love Sonya, too.
