It was almost mine…

by on October 9, 2008

A very kick ass reader that does not have a blog (what is UP with that?!) told me about someone within her local Craig’s list that was selling her living room. That living room included, you guessed it, a labyrinth rug. On C.L. it was listed as being $35. I e-mailed so fast and held my breath for the rest of the day. This morning I got a response from a very sweet woman informing me that she was in such a hurry she ended up selling the rug to her neighbor for $10.

And the quest continues…

If it were me, I’d ask for the neighbors contact information and offer her cash for the rug…but I can be desperate at times.

Good luck on the continued quest.

I’ll keep an eye on our CL… we’re like 8 hours from the closest IKEA so the chances of finding anything are probably slim to none, but I’ll look. :)

Argh!

Whenever I sell something on Craig’s list, I only get one offer for it. In fact, we still have a TV up that we haven’t gotten ANY offers on.

So close! You should totally contact the neighber and tell her about your quest and offer the $35.

OHHHH MANNNN! That sucks! You need to occasionally remind everyone to look for it. Someday you may get blog lucky.

That’s a bummer – some stuff goes so fast and yet I’m still waiting for someone to claim my old entertainment center for $10 :)
