A very kick ass reader that does not have a blog (what is UP with that?!) told me about someone within her local Craig’s list that was selling her living room. That living room included, you guessed it, a labyrinth rug. On C.L. it was listed as being $35. I e-mailed so fast and held my breath for the rest of the day. This morning I got a response from a very sweet woman informing me that she was in such a hurry she ended up selling the rug to her neighbor for $10.
And the quest continues…

If it were me, I’d ask for the neighbors contact information and offer her cash for the rug…but I can be desperate at times.
Good luck on the continued quest.

I’ll keep an eye on our CL… we’re like 8 hours from the closest IKEA so the chances of finding anything are probably slim to none, but I’ll look.
awww man…so close!!!
i would ask to contact the neighbor and offer then double for it… or something… explain your quest and i bet they would do it…

Argh!
Whenever I sell something on Craig’s list, I only get one offer for it. In fact, we still have a TV up that we haven’t gotten ANY offers on.
Yes, contact the nephew and offer to buy him a new rug of his choice from IKEA. i exchange for the rug.
So close! You should totally contact the neighber and tell her about your quest and offer the $35.
FYI: The Ikea rug was called “Freja”… jic you didn’t know that already… I’m googling for you, Momma!! XOXO
You’ll get there…

OHHHH MANNNN! That sucks! You need to occasionally remind everyone to look for it. Someday you may get blog lucky.
DAMN!
That’s a bummer – some stuff goes so fast and yet I’m still waiting for someone to claim my old entertainment center for $10
