Something more to come

The Continuing Saga of Mama Duck Adventures:

Mama Duck stayed on her nest, with a small chick tucked by her side, for the entire night. She was unflinching as I tried to quietly put the recycling and garbage out by the curb early this morning. As the sun warmed up the front of the house she began to turn from facing our window to facing out. The last check out the dining room window revealed that Mama Duck and chick were off on an adventure. However she had cleverly exposed her nest allowing the warmth of the sun to incubate her eggs. Mama Duck is brilliant.  I quietly went out to the front yard and with my zoom lens was able to photograph the nest to share with you.
