1) Even though it sucks to have to force feed 12 needle-less syringes of stinky, blended RX cat food down my cat’s tooth infested mouth four times a day I am noticing that BG Talula is doing much better. She has a bit more pep and isn’t crying so much when she uses the litter box. So hoping this food is dissolving the stone.
2) GM only got up ONCE last night and that getting up required no physical assistance from me.
3) I got my first advertising check in the mail! This means I can officially let go of the grudge holding of the previous blog ad people and move on with my life. Granted the check was not a car payment or anything, but it is real and it is mine!
4) A blog friend that pretty much fell off the planet sent me an e-mail and she is doing really great. And no I won’t tell you who it is, but I will let you know that sometimes people DO get happy endings.
5) Another friend just got some insanely wonderful news and I am waiting for her to blog about it so that I can link to it and you can run over and do a cartwheel for her. And guess what- the news doesn’t involve reproductive parts. It’s bigger than that. And it is awesome!
6) An old friend of mine from my last life in the entertainment world found me on the facebook and we have been catching up. She was one of my favorite people that I got to work with so it is thrilling to be able to do the e-mail exchange. I am trying to get her to start a blog…bwha ha ha!
7) I have finally decided to end a destructive relationship in my life. This person used to be a source of joy and happiness, but lately she has been taunting me and making no sense. She fills my in-box with rubbish and after months and months of it I have decided that I need to break it off. Sue Miller, we are through.
8 ) I figured out how to get music off of a popular video site and into my itunes. I am now like an obsessed music lover all over again.
9) It’s almost 9am and GM is still sleeping.
10) It’s hump day. AKA one day ’til respite.

I’m getting off work early today, and taking tomorrow off. It’s to help my mother, but it’s away from HERE!
I got new clothes in the mail! They are so comfy! Plus, my dog is sitting with me on my chair and he is nice and warm.

Good things here: I’m working in my pajamas while my wife cleans the kitchen, and I get to go for a walk today at our regional park where the oak trees are abundant. For this I am excited.

Good news, er…good news…still thinking. It’s not news as such, but this morning on my walk to work I passed a bus headed to a special needs home and a girl with Downs was looking out the window with the biggest, most radiant smile on her face. It made me happy.
good things: hope got a high on her monitor, for the first time since…october. it’s been jumping from low to peak since the deadbabydebaucle. we’re hoping this means that at least her hormones are really getting back to normal.
my grocery trip with quinn this AM went pretty well. no tears, and in and out somewhat quickly.
there’s money in our checking acct.
the credit card balance is *almost* at zero, again.
I’m in bed with my cat. I am SUPER happy about that, being the crazy cat lady and all.
Yeah for the good stuff. I got a possible lead on a job, so that’s a good thing.
Good: I just finished the final class of my graduate school career. Three assignments to submit, and I’ll be done!
Well, for one, I *finally* got the license plates for the car I bought last November… this was huge for me since my (first) car-buying experience was a veritable nightmare (very long story)… so I finally got to stop the free advertising I’d been doing for the terrible dealership for the past six months and have my own plates. So, it seems small, but it was big, happy news for me!
Also, when I got my lunch today I requested two pickles, and the kindly man behind the sandwich counter gave me three… which totally made my afternoon.

I go on vacation in 23 days! That and I received a very positive email from a wonderful place that places foster children with adoptive parents. Maybe that’s the way I’m supposed to go to be a Mommy! Keep your fingers crossed!

I found out that our home study for our adoption was sent from the branch office to the main office on May 2nd and that we are officially on the waiting list for a referral from South Korea!
