There was no “We got into a fight” button for “S had a really busy week, worked till 2am Friday, and then again worked on Saturday, but that was no reason for her to be MEAN to me on Sunday morning” fight.
I had a really mixed weekend. Lo spent all of Saturday morning in a “I hate my family” inspired funk. I had a full-out tantrum on Saturday afternoon, in which I threw things. Then Lo and I exchanged angry words. Then we cried. Then we calmed down. Then the spell was broken and we had a nice rest of the night. So, my weekend sucked but it also didn’t, because once the tension was released, we were able to be human… even kind… to each other.
You had no button for “pretty good but certainly not the best of the year”. Now that you’ve toured the eastern seaboard (and are surely strapped for cash) I’m ready for you to Go West, Young Girl, Go West.
Humm.. no button for “two different friends had second baby” or “fought about how much sex we don’t have anymore.” I guess that could sort of fall under the ttc issues….
Oy. How is it that I define the above as an ok weekend? It is just so normal now.
